As you enter town, the locals are working to rebuild broken doors and smashed windows, carrying the bodies of fallen townspeople through the streets to be loaded onto carts already overflowing. They look at you with a mixture of exhaustion and suspicion. "We were hit again last night. They always come at night. Like ghosts in the dark. They're Indians, to be sure, but they fight like creatures possessed by the devil himself! And they're painted all white and black. I think they're comin' out of old Foster's Canyon. There's some abandoned Old Mines up there, but folks round here say they're haunted, and nobody's got the guts to go check it out. If somebody don't do somethin' fast, this whole town is going to be dead or scared off!"
