Kneeling in the local shrine to pay your respects, you are approached by a frail old man, a look of anguish etched onto his drawn, wrinkled face. "I know you have many things that demand your attention, and I am just a simple fanner. But I am tormented by the screams of my ancestors. They haunt my dreams and have grown only louder as the days go by I cannot take it any longer: They are trapped in the deathly forest beyond the shadows. I have heard that you are brave Heroes. Is there anything that you can do to help me... to help free them? I fear that soon I will go mad from their screams. Then I too will join them in their eternal torment!"
